Snohomish County FC – or SnoCo for short – was established in 2017 to give county residents the opportunity to play at a high level after high school, while back from college for the summer, or even after having played professionally. In 2019, the club won the Western Washington Premier League (WWPL) at the first time of asking, and have since concentrated their efforts toward building a men’s indoor team and set of adult women’s teams that will debut in early 2021.
We loved designing The Steelheads’ kits for their inaugural season in the WWPL, but for us their bespoke windbreakers take the biscuit…

🍊 All Orange 🍊
SnoCo FC’s crest features a Steelhead whose scales are made up of tessellated hexagons. This pattern became integral to the club’s branding and identity - the “Hex” represents harmony, balance and strength - so we sought to have this feature prominently in the club’s kits.
This tessellated pattern covers the majority of the club’s home kits, but if you look closely enough, you might also see the Steelhead fish emerge from the luminous orange.

The Hex Kit
The club’s away kit incorporates the same tessellated hexagon pattern, but in an effort to mimic the reflective nature of a fish’s scales, each hexagon varies in colour between black and light grey.
The “Hex” kit has become a fan-favourite, and even made its way onto Classic Football Shirts and into English football grounds.
THE WINDBREAKER

Cementing Their Style
When it came time to think about jackets, we couldn’t help but draw upon the “Hex” design that proved so popular with fans and neutrals alike. The pattern has become synonymous with SnoCo FC and these windbreakers cement the club’s style.
